Due to restrictions on both color and ornate designs, skilled craftsmen focused on intricate color variations to produce subtle patterns that could be mistaken for solid hues. This Edo komon pattern is incorporated into the frame, complementing the photos within with its simple yet elegant aesthetic.

The photo frame can accommodate up to four photos or postcards, displayed either vertically or horizontally. Its versatility makes it suitable for everyday use, as a thoughtful gift, or as a souvenir for international customers. Produced in Japan, the frame is crafted from polyester material.

As these frames are produced by repurposing fabric scraps that would otherwise be discarded, each one is unique, with slight variations in the patterns.
